About Whole Staff Wellness

At Whole Staff Wellness, we believe the strength of every school and child care program begins with the well-being of its people.

Educators and caregivers often carry the weight of demanding schedules, emotional workloads, and constant change—leading to stress, burnout, and disconnection.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to strengthen schools and child care organizations by prioritizing staff wellness through faith-informed practices, practical tools, and self-care strategies that nurture both heart and mind.

Our vision is to be a trusted partner in staff wellness—reducing burnout, building unified teams, and helping educators and leaders transform everyday challenges into opportunities for growth and renewal.

We exist because when teachers and caregivers feel supported, valued, and cared for, classrooms and centers flourish.
Healthy, resilient teams create positive environments where children, families, and communities thrive.

Why We Do What We Do

Whole Staff Wellness was founded with a simple but powerful belief: when educators and caregivers are healthy and unified, the entire school or center thrives.

We’ve seen firsthand the toll that burnout, compassion fatigue, and workplace stress can take on dedicated teachers, providers, and leaders. Our “why” runs deep — it’s rooted in restoration and impact:

To restore balance, joy, and purpose to the lives of those who pour so much into others.

To ensure that when staff thrive, the children, families, and communities they serve receive the best care, education, and support possible.

Because when the people who nurture others are well, everyone wins.

About the Founder

As a mother herself, Arika Davenport knows what it feels like to juggle the demands of work and family — and how easily burnout can creep in when care for others comes before care for self.

With years of experience serving in education, human services, and government programs, Arika has witnessed firsthand how stress, compassion fatigue, and constant pressure can drain even the most dedicated teachers, caregivers, and leaders.

Her heart for Whole Staff Wellness was born out of both personal and professional experience — seeing how staff well-being directly impacts the children and families they serve.

Today, Arika partners with schools, child care programs, and organizations to bring faith-informed wellness solutions that go beyond checking a box. She helps restore purpose, brings balance, strengthen unity, and build environments where staff feel supported, valued, and empowered — because when those who care for others are well, everyone thrives.
